Thanks, and NO Whining Anymore!
Thank you everyone for support yesterday, and appologies for the whine-fest!
I left from work yesterday, couln’t face the treadmill, all in my worries about my husband’s final assignment, thinking I will walk 20 min to the train fighting the cold wind and snow… And the weather in Calgary’s typical fashion is super mild, no wind, snow is starting to melt. So, I decided to make a walk around the park before catching the train. Then as I started walking, I am going like… what the heck? Why should I miss my run?
And the inner voice tells me: Well, self, you have a big pack, and you are wearing work clothes. And I told the inner voice - big pack is good, it won’t wiggle once I tighten the straps, and workclothes are pants and shirt. If I walk fast, they will get sweaty anyway. So, I just took off and run, and boy, did it help to stabilize my mood, and was it a beautiful run! I couldn’t stop! I went on the second intreval till I got to the bridge going back to town! V. happy! And by the time I got home, hubby handed in his asignment and was in far better mood! Happy Ending! Well, almost. His final evaluation won’t come for a week or two, but I am now hopeful!
Wow, he even promissed me to do the photos today and going to do blood test with me, finally checking his cholesterol level! Now, that’s progress!!! Love you all, ladies! Thank you again!
I’M SOOOOOOO PROUD OF YOU GIRL! You are kicking BUTT!!!!!!! Such an inspiration to a lot of people on BuddySlim, keep it up!!!!!
That is awesome!! Reading your blog I could actually feel what you were feeling while you were running and after your run. You nailed it there girl! And look at what you did, seriously, you dealt with stress by exercising. Now I don’t know about before, but before I would have grabbed the first bag of chips and emptied it in no time. So you rock!!
I missed your blog yesterday but I’m loving the renewed you!
